PLACEMENT

Q: WHERE ARE THE JOBS POSTED? CAN WE PUT EXPIRY WITH THE POST?
All the placement related tasks are done centrally inside CMS. Now to post a job you need to login as the Employer. One way is that the employer posts the job online. If online system is not available you can login to employers account using employer login and the CMS admin password. Now you are good to post the job/s. Once you post the job, CMS admin must approve it under the posts list section. Only then the job gets publically available.

Q: HOW CAN WE SEARCH THE POSTED JOBS BASED ON NOC?
NOC based categories are defined and you can simply click any category and the related jobs are listed automatically.

Q: IS IT POSSIBLE TO SEARCH RESUME ON DIFFERENT FILTER CRITERIA?
Yes. The out of box criteria include; Nationality, Highest Education, Education Summary, Available to Start, etc.

Q: DOES THE CLIENTS IMPORTED FROM CAMS APPEAR IN RESUME SEARCH?
Yes all the clients imported from CaMS become available inside the resume search. But you can stop any client from getting included in the search simply by unselecting the checkbox suspending it from public display.

CASE MANAGEMENT

Q: WHERE DO WE REGISTER THE ASSISTED CLIENTS?
Client registration for assisted clients is done inside the CaMS system. All the client information becomes automatically available inside IOM as soon as the next import operation is run.

Q: WHERE DO WE DEFINE THE SERVICE PLAN AND FURTHER DETAILS OF THE PLAN?
Inside the CaMS system. You define the service plan/s the goal, sub-goals and the plan-items. All the planning data becomes automatically available inside IOM system after the next import operation is run.

Q: WHERE DO WE DEFINE THE INTERVENTIONS SCHEDULE?
Again in the CaMS system. All the interventions data becomes automatically available inside IOM system after the next import operation is run.

Q: HOW DO WE IMPORT (INTO IOM)THE CLIENT INFORMATION ALONG WITH THE SERVICE PLAN AND INTERVENTIONS DETAILS
Go to main menu EOIS and click the ‘import EIOS Data’ button. A form with 8 files upload labels will open. Here you can attach all the eight files in one go and click import data. The files will be uploaded to server and then all the data is imported into IOM after applying all the checks and balances ensuring data integrity.

Q: WHAT PART OF INFORMATION CAN WE EDIT AGAINST AN ASSISTED CLIENTS INSIDE IOM?
You can add notes and attach documents against a service plan or intervention.

Q: THE NOTES AND DOCUMENTS ATTACHED, DOES THIS INFORMATION GOES BACK TO CAMS?
Not at all.

Q: HOW DO WE DEFINE THE TASKS AGAINST PLAN ITEMS OR INTERVENTIONS?
First goto Clients/ServicePlans/Subgoals & Planitems OR Interventions and inside the grid data view. Click on the + sign. A form to enter the corresponding task will open. As soon as you enter the task details it is saved in the system and made available to the owner and assigned to personnel

Q: DOES THE TASKS DATA WE ENTER INTO IOM GOES BACK TO CAMS DATABASE?
Not at all.

Q: WHERE CAN I SEE WHAT ARE THE TASKS ASSIGNED TO ME?
Go to My Tasks/Tasks For Me to see the list of tasks assigned to you.

Q: WHEN I DELEGATE A TASK WHERE CAN I CHECK THE STATUS OF THE TASK?
For Example: A client is marked ‘Job Ready’ and handed over to Job Developer, what happened next? Go to My Tasks/Delegated To to see the status of the tasks you delegated to others.

Q: WHEN DO THE SERVICE PLANS BECOME LOCALLY AVAILABLE IN THE IOM SYSTEM?
As soon as the import data operation is run, the service plans data becomes available inside IOM. Usually it is next business day.

Q: HOW DO WE SCHEDULE TASKS ON MY CALENDAR?
Click on the calendar itself and it opens the full google calendar interface. There you can enter tasks schedule and reminder information.

RESOURCE AND INFORMATION

Q: HOW CAN WE SAVE HUNDREDS OF ARTICLES, TRAINING DOCUMENTS, HOW TO DOCUMENTS IN THE SYSTEM SO THAT THEY CAN BE SEARCHED AND RETRIEVED WITH EASE BY THE CLIENTS?
Simply go to ‘Wiki’ and click on Add Document. Now you can put the document out line in the description field and attach the document and press the save button.
The document is now part of the documents archive and each word in the description will be searched when you will be filtering documents list in future, to pull out the relevant document.

REPORTS

Q: WHAT ARE THE KIND OF REPORTS WE CAN EXPECT FROM IOM SYSTEM?
There are five reporting sections with the corresponding reports:
1) Client Cases
2) Client Stats
3) Funders
4) Employers
5) KPI

SECURITY

Q: HOW SIMPLE IT IS TO RESTRICT ACCESS OF A PARTICULAR ROLE ON SERVICE PLANS, OR CLIENTS SECTIONS?
Just one check box selection sets the security in place. Go to Admin/Rights Matrix and against a role simply check or uncheck the ‘resource’ to enable or disable its access to the particular role.

Q: HOW CAN WE ADD A NEW USER?
Go to Admin/Users and click ‘Add User’ type in the credentials and press save. New user is created!

Q: IF A USER FORGETS HIS PASSWORD, HOW CAN WE HELP RESETTING THE PASSWORD?
Only the ‘admin’ rights users can reset the password for any system user. Go to Admin/Users and click the edit symbol i.e. pencil icon at the user record level inside actions column. In the edit form simply type the new password twice and click save button. The user password is now updated.
